OCT 16, 22 .. LET'S TAKE A SHORT TRIP TO BRAZIL ..

Loran, our very good friend down in Phoenix, Arizona, was born in the United States. He lived in Brazil during his formative years from ages 11 to 19. Loran has a great love for Brazil and has numerous family members who live there permanently.

Loran spells Brazil with an 's' as in Brasil. This is how Brazil is spelled in the Portuguese language.

It is very VERY HOT during September, in Phoenix, Arizona. In Brazil, September is in the early spring and the weather is (to quote Loran) gorgeous! Each year, to get a little respite from the Arizona heat, he goes South to Brazil for approximately one month.

Loran visits the city of Salvador, in the Brazilian State of Bahia.

Can you find Salvador on the above map? It is on the Eastern Coastline of Brazil. IF you're trying to find Salvador on your smart phone, it takes 'a little doing' to do so!

    That produce looks wonderful. i will be in Brazil (photographing birds and wildlife in the Pantanal ) next year in October.

      Yes the produce looks wonderful !! Pantanal ?? The Pantanal is a natural region encompassing the world's largest tropical wetland area, and the world's largest flooded grasslands. It is located mostly within the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul, but it extends into Mato Grosso and portions of Bolivia and Paraguay !! How is that !! Smiling ..
