I have shown you Autorickshaws and I have shown you Tempos .. I thought that it was time to show you a Bicycle Rickshaw!
Note the black and yellow Autorickshaw behind the Bicycle Rickshaw.
It's not time to call the Bicycle Rickshaw a 'dying breed' but here in Pondicherry there are relatively very few of them.
For one thing .. they are regulated as to their routes. They are NOT allowed on the busy streets because they do 'tie traffic up'. For another thing .. people seem to want 'rapid' transportation! The Autorickshaws and Tempos travel much faster and go much longer distances!
"What's that 'Zilla? You have forgotten what a Tempo is!" .. "No problem look below!"
"What's that 'Zilla? The Tempos look 'stuffed full'!" .. "They ARE STUFFED FULL 'Zilla!"
