JAN 17, 19 .. MY TWO MAJOR LANDMARKS IN NOVOSIBIRSK RUSSIAN SIBERIA

As all of you who have followed me for some time are aware, it is absolutely critical when I leave my flat for any reason, that I know how to return home. I simply cannot afford to get lost and then have no way to explain where I am living.

 Below are my absolute top two landmarks here in Novosibirsk.

 THE NOVOSIBIRSK RAILWAY STATION 

 This very evening, Thursday January 17th, 2019, I was picked up by a member who took me to attend a local meeting. After the meeting adjourned, I was asked by another member if I would stay for a second meeting due to begin in 30 minutes. I said I would IF he would drive me back to my flat since the member who picked me up was leaving and not staying for the second meeting.

 He said, "Sure. Where do you live?"

 I replied, "Get me to the Main Railway Station."

 He replied, "Sure. That is easy."

 At night.


During the day.





 THE MOHPO STORE

 The M and the two letters O are identical to our M and O.

 The cyrillic H is our N. The cyrillic P is our R.

 MOHPO in cyrillic is our MONRO.

By night we look out our kitchen window and see our local MOHPO shoe supermarket chain store.

    Yes, I am always rooting for you, in general, and that you not get lost. Your knack for selecting landmarks as soon as you are in a place always seems to work! They got you home safely last night again!! Smiles and love. Patti

    "Yes we will drive you home! Where do you live?" .. Instantly I replied, "Just get us to the Main Railway Station and we are home." What could be easier? Love Cap
