AUG 24, 24 .. BULL ELK IN ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, COLORADO..

Rocky Mountain National Park is located approximately 65 miles Northwest of Denver, Colorado. The estimated driving time is an hour and a half.

The other day, while 'surfing the internet', Patti came across a very interesting news story about a small group of mountain bike riders encountering a group of six bull elk walking down a Park road toward them, past them, and disappearing without indicating they had even seen, let alone interacted with, the mountain bikers.

We found the article to be interesting and hope maybe you will also be interested in it.

This 'disclaimer' is interesting: A group of cyclists were stopped in their tracks when they ran into six bull elk on a trail at Rocky Mountain National Park. The video was first shared to Facebook by James Mason in June 2020.

It seems to me that this information is in 'the public domain'.

Wikipedia defines it as:

The public domain (PD) consists of all the creative work to which no exclusive intellectual property rights apply. Those rights may have expired, been forfeited, expressly waived, or may be inapplicable. Because no one holds the exclusive rights, anyone can legally use or reference those works without permission.

So I snapped a few 'screen shots'.

I Googled: Six Mass ... networks.com and could not comprehend who, or what, they are. Let alone seek formal permission to use this (now over four years old) information.

I want to at least say:

Thank You Francis Xavier and James Mason, for taking the time, and going to the effort, to share your very interesting experience and photographs with the world wide web.

I also Googled Francis Xavier and Wow! Your 'name sake' sure was phenomenal Francis!

The time has come to share a few of Francis' photos here with you all.

And there they go, just 'ambling on'!

We thought this was interesting and enjoyable.

One never ever knows for sure what a wild animal in the 'wilderness' will do. Maybe these elk were 'very used to people'.

Smiling..

Cap and Patti
