If you have lived on the North side of Detroit, Michigan, for any considerable length of time, I was born and raised on Detroit's North side for 17 years, then there is a good chance that just the name Cranbrook will ring a "bell of familiarity".
The Cranbrook Educational Community, is one of the world’s leading centers of education, science, and art. Comprising a graduate Academy of Art, contemporary Art Museum, Center for Collections and Research, House & Gardens, natural history museum and Pre-K through 12 independent college preparatory schools, Cranbrook welcomes thousands of visitors and students to its campus each year.

Trust us. Cranbrook is really something unique and special!
Our great friend Ginny, who lives in Laughlin, Nevada, is visiting her family in Detroit and sent us the below photos she recently snapped while she was visiting Cranbrook.
Great stuff Ginny +Cap.Also Cap,do you recall that Detroit Lions used to hold pre-season camp @Cranbrook? Tom 'Tiger'
ReplyDeleteThank You Tom Tiger. Thank You for reading this Post and for taking a moment to leave a comment. We really appreciate your interest Tom. To be honest no. When the Detroit Lions were out at Cranbrook for their pre-season camps, I was either at the University of Michigan, in the Marine Corps or busy at Wayne State University. Translation.. I simply was not following the Lions very intently during that period Tom. Smiles. Cap
