In this Post you will see three of the several restaurants that we enjoyed in Hong Kong during our recent visit.
The first one, Figos, is brand new to us. A special friend of Patti's invited us to come to Discovery Bay and enjoy lunch and a visit. I nibbled and then let the ladies visit and took-my-leave.
So here is a very quick look-see at :

Below is the interior of Figos from the rear entrance. We sat at the far end just inside of the front entrance.
Now we go up front. The below photo of the bar was taken from our table.
LUNCH AT FIGOS
We began with Bruschetta as an appetizer. Bruschetta is an antipasto from Italy consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt. Variations may include toppings of tomato, vegetables, beans, cured meat, or cheese.
It sure was wonderful.
Now we will go back to Kowloon and enjoy lunch at the second restaurant.
PASSION BY GERALD DUBOIS ON MODY ROAD
Patti and I have eaten here several times previously.
On this visit, I treated one of my special friends here in Hong Kong to lunch on his 65th Birthday.
Inside we walk.
It is a cafeteria-style restaurant. You pick what you want.
I really love their salads so I got a plate with three salads of my choosing.
They also have the most wonderful bread. By the loaf or by the slice as-you-like
Desserts for those with a sweet-tooth.
For those Hong Kongers on-the-run at lunch-time, they have pre-made sandwiches.
If you are going to dine-in, they will prepare any sandwich combination you select.
My friend opted for a sandwich.
His sandwich and a my selection of three salads.

Patti and I have been eating here since 1996. We have a great rapport with the owner and with many of the staff. Over the years I have taken many photos. The below photos are but a tip-of-the-photo-iceberg.
