MAR 4, 25 .. THAI FOOD IN LAKE HAVASU CITY..

As those of you who follow us know, we are very staunch fans of The Golden Phoenix here in Lake Havasu City with its Singapore Rice Noodles.

However! Make no mistake! Patti and I also really enjoy Pad Thai that is served in Thai Restaurants.

Until recently, we had not found a Thai Restaurant here in Lake Havasu City.

Our very good friend Michael to the rescue!

Michael told us about the Thai Food Restaurant off McCullough Blvd North at Smoketree Avenue.

We have eaten here twice. The below photos were taken during both of our dining experiences,

Patti and I successfully located it with a lot of help from the patrons of the local Tattoo Shop! Thanks Guys!

We two then had a very nice dinner of Pad Thai.

The Thai Food Restaurant has two separate entrances.

The photos below show the entrance off McCulloch Blvd.

We have entered the building. The restaurant is down the below hallway on the left.

When you enter through the above door, you discover that there are two separate dining areas.

The "Main dining area" as you enter the restaurant and, to your left as you enter, the "Upper dining area" that you see below through the arched entryway.

Turning around and looking back through the above arched doorway, you see the main dining room below.

Patti sitting at our table in the "Upper Dining Area".

We really enjoyed our Pad Thai dinner.

We then "treated" Michael to a Thai Dinner on his, Taa Daa, Anniversary.

On this, our second visit to Thai Food Restaurant, we entered from the parking lot behind the building.

Now we are entering the "Main Downstairs" dining area.

Patti is sitting at our table in the far corner. Michael will be joining us soon.

Several views of the downstairs dining area. The below photos were snapped from our above table.

"Panning" to the right.

The main entry door is on the extreme right edge of the below photo.

As we did on our first visit, we really enjoyed our Pad Thai!

NOV 4, 24 .. TODAY'S GUEST CONTRIBUTOR.. JERRY 94954

I've said it once, I've repeated it, over and over again, without all of you who follow and support us with comments, suggestions and the many photographs you send us, it would be extremely difficult for us to continue with our Google blogspot website here.

Once upon a time, when we were traveling extensively out of the country, we had a never ending source of material to share with you.

It has now been over five (5) years since we have traveled out of the country so that source of material has "dried up".

Dating back to 1978, I have known Jerry 46 years. Jerry has a home in Thailand and while visiting, sends me photos.

Thanks to Jerry who is visiting Thailand now, here we go with some photos of Thailand along with some photos of Thai Food which we enjoy here in Anchorage.

Bangkok is aka BKK to International Travelers

"Cap I know you would like the below place!"

Long sigh.

In December of 2019, I brought covid-19 back with me after 14 months in Asia. For the next several years, going out of the country was absolutely out of the question for Patti and myself.

Not only were we in three different hospital emergency rooms (Phoenix, Detroit and Anchorage) with covid we both are now experiencing "long covid" symptoms such as fatigue and depression along with some "sleep issues" for Patti.

And? I am now 88 years of age and Patti is not far behind me. To some large degree, this "aging thing" has shut us down as to long haul air flights to foreign countries with questionable medical care IF you can find it.

Where was I?

BKK!

From 62 Stories up!

Wow huh?

Oh yes! Around the World, all humans experience the challenges of life.

Some serious flooding in the area where Jerry has a home.

Below is a "Touch of Thailand" right here in Anchorage, Alaska.

Thank You Jerry, so very much for your photos and for your 46 years of supporting me as a friend!
