Welcome back to Part 4 of this series of Posts covering our local Hot Air Balloon Festival and Fair.
We know not all of you follow us daily. Below is a link to Part 3, our previous Post, just in case you would like to review it.

In Part 3 we explained that, in spite of relatively good (read low) wind speeds, the Hot Air Balloon pilots opted to not fly yesterday.

As you can see in the two below images, today, Saturday the 11th of January, I stress in the morning before 12 noon, we also had excellent, low to moderate wind speeds, just perfect flying conditions.
After 12 noon the wind picked up speed and no balloons flew for the rest of today.
As you can see below, after 12 noon the wind picked up speed and no balloons flew for the rest of today.
This morning, from 8am until around 11am, was my day to preform my volunteer duties.
I was "Up And At 'Em" before sunrise.
Did anyone notice that the temperature was a "chilly 41°F" as I was "Up And At 'Em"?
Because I am a volunteer, I was able to park in a special restricted area.
The Main Entrance into the Festival Grounds.
A quick look-see into the Festival grounds just past the main entryway you saw above.
Below is our Volunteer Headquarters where we report for our shifts.
Below you can see my 5K check in.
As I stepped out of the Volunteer Headquarters, way out in the distance was the first Hot Air Balloon that I have seen this year.
So out and off I went, realizing that The Hot Air Balloons were flying. I wanted to see more of them, knowing with our tricky winds that this could be the only opportunity I would have to see them.
Just look at them. I think they are beautiful!
Several very special and unique Hot Air Balloons.
The time has come for yours truly to "call this a wrap" at least for Part 4.
Cap and Patti, who was not able to join me in the early morning pre-sunrise cool. By 10am it had warmed up into the low 50's.
