JAN 21, 25 ( 2 / 4 ).. VW BUSES BY THE BRIDGE 2025..

In Part 2 here I want to show some of the "other activities" that were taking place during the four day weekend.

I don't quite know how to describe what I am now going to show you below but it involved a Sound Stage with a host at a microphone talking almost non-stop about the festival.

 Periodically he would stop, pick a ticket (or something) from a container, identify the owner of the ticket and announce what the lucky Raffle winner was going to receive.

So here we go.

Let's start out with some "crowd photos" just to give you some idea of the size of this particular, call it, event.

Now I am going to move in closer to the "Sound Stage" where the host announcer was "Holding Court".

Then we had the Dare Devil Bicycle Riders.

They made the front page of our local newspaper.

I, quite accidently, deleted my photos of the above Dare Devil Bicycle Riders.

Now back to some VW Buses.

Well there you have Part 2 of the VW Buses By The Lake Havasu City London Bridge.

As we mentioned previously in Part 1, the VW Buses are not at all close to the London Bridge here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

JAN 18, 25 ( 1 / 4 ).. VW BUSES BY THE BRIDGE 2025..

Just last weekend we had the Hot Air Balloon Festival and Fair here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Snap your fingers and last Thursday, beginning at 10am, some 600 or so VW Buses began rolling into town for the 28th Annual Lake Havasu Buses By The Bridge.

Oh! 

By The Way! 

The VW Buses are not too close to the Lake Havasu City London Bridge.

This week our local newspaper has been running front page articles about our Buses By The Bridge festival. 

Today, Saturday the 18th of January, I visited the 28th Annual Buses By The Bridge festival here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Entry for all four days of the festival is only $5.

The parking area is very large.

I am showing all of these parking lot photos to give you an idea of the size of this event.

Now we begin to look at the VW Buses that have travelled here, some from a long distance, to participate in Buses By The Bridge.

Every Monday afternoon, when I ride the Lake Havasu Ferry over to the Havasu Landing Casino, I so enjoy seeing the small Lighthouse you see below.

Here comes the Lake Havasu Ferry below.
