Loran our great friend here in Phoenix, sent us the below photos of his Cacti in bloom!!

This is the time of year when the cacti begin to flower.
And below a butterfly visiting his Cacti.

In the next two photos, a few buds have flowered.

The next photos show some of the cacti that Patti and I saw on the Mayo Clinic campus here in Phoenix last friday when Patti had her procedure.
In the first photo, if you look closely, you can see the buds waiting to open up and become flowers.
In the next two photos, a few buds have flowered.
Now we go to the next-door-neighbor of the above cactus.
This one has really begun to flower out!

The rest of the story! The above photos taken at the Mayo Clinic are 100% thanks to Patti. As we were walking into the building where her procedure would be performed, Patti pointed the flowering cactus out to me and suggested that I snap a photo (or even two).
