DEC 29, 22 .. SETTLING INTO OUR APARTMENT .. WE HAD TO HAVE A BED

" What a silly title Captain ! " 

" Of course you have to have a bed ! " 

" But we thought your apartment was furnished ! And ? You showed us photos of a bed ! "

" Not just a bed ! A very nice looking bed ! "

" O.K. all true ! BUT, sad-to-say, the above bed is a Queen size bed and My Queen says that we must have a King size bed ! "

Step One .. Our landlord removed the above bed for us. 

Now you see it ? 

VOILA ! Now you don't !

Step Two .. Our landlord's wife found and purchased (we pay for it of course) a King sized bed and arranged for it to be delivered and set up !

Step Three .. Delivery and installation of our new King size bed !

So VERY nice to see you ! They were set-your-watch by it on time !

VOILA ! The mattress has arrived !

Thanks so very VERY much guys ! You were just great !

I slipped them a $20 bill ! They were VERY gracious and so appreciative !

DEC 25, 22 (1/2) .. LAKE HAVASU CITY, ARIZONA .. OUR NEW APARTMENT

This is the Christmas Holiday weekend !

We closed our December 24 (2/2) Post as follows ..

Patti and I have signed a long term lease to rent an apartment here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. We now have a real, part time, home-away-from-home, down here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Our apartment is 100% fully furnished. From towels and bedding to a full kitchen full of implements. New T.V. and Internet. You name it, and it's there. We've meet three of our four neighbors and REALLY like them. One is a 12 year tenant. Another is an 8 year tenant.

Below IS A PHOTO SHOOT of our apartment.

I will begin with a few photos of our street.

We have now made a right turn onto Moyo Drive. The next photos show what our street looks like as we drive to our apartment.

VOILA !! We have arrived at our apartment !!

Now, we will stand in the middle of Moyo Drive, and look back down the street.

VOILA !! On the left in the below photo is our apartment building !!

Our GMC Suburban, parked on Moyo Drive, is on the right below.

The above photos show our apartment and our GMC Suburban parked on Moyo Drive.

Our (call it) "official" parking place is not on Moyo Drive but in back of our building.

When we get out of our truck, when it's parked in the back of our building, we have a very pleasant garden area immediately outside of our door.

Our local snail mail delivery box is in the above garden area.

Wowie ! At least to some extent, Patti and I are now Arizona residents.

DEC 25, 22 (2/2) .. LAKE HAVASU CITY, ARIZONA .. OUR NEW APARTMENT

Assumptions are oh-so-dangerous BUT I am going to assume that IF you are viewing this Post (Part 2 of 2), that you have already viewed Part 1 of 2 immediately above this Post.

We ended Part 1 above looking at the door into our apartment.

O.K. we'll open the above door and go into our new apartment.

Back out of our bedroom we walk and look towards our entrance door.

Turning around 180° is our bathroom.

There we have a look at our new-to-us apartment. We are really looking forward to enjoying it.
