The other day, as I was walking up the steps into our Condo.. 

I saw something rather unusual.

So I picked it up and took it inside to inspect it.

Just when you think you know something !!

Now I am NOT 100% sure of this, BUT I am positive that at least some of you know exactly what it is and what it is used for.
