I am not talking about a lot of snow here on the ground. But here we are, now at the middle of May, and there is still "some snow" around us.
As you can see in the three photos below, there still are a few patches of snow in our neighborhood.
More importantly however, as you have seen in Part 1, there is still a fair amount of show on the mountains that surround Anchorage. The purpose of showing the Mountain Snow is that it "showcases" the beauty we are surrounded by here in Anchorage, Alaska.
The below photos were taken in South Anchorage as we were heading South to enjoy the scenery on The Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet yesterday on Mother's day.
O.K. Below I am sitting in the Veteran's Administration Office Building, looking out the window at a very pleasant view! Trust me, I needed a very pleasant view to enjoy.
Yes! It took a few photos to catch The Flag in the wind.
