DEC 29, 22 .. SETTLING INTO OUR APARTMENT .. WE HAD TO HAVE A BED

" What a silly title Captain ! " 

" Of course you have to have a bed ! " 

" But we thought your apartment was furnished ! And ? You showed us photos of a bed ! "


" Not just a bed ! A very nice looking bed ! "

" O.K. all true ! BUT, sad-to-say, the above bed is a Queen size bed and My Queen says that we must have a King size bed ! "

Step One .. Our landlord removed the above bed for us. 

Now you see it ? 


VOILA ! Now you don't !



Step Two .. Our landlord's wife found and purchased (we pay for it of course) a King sized bed and arranged for it to be delivered and set up !

Step Three .. Delivery and installation of our new King size bed !

So VERY nice to see you ! They were set-your-watch by it on time !

VOILA ! The mattress has arrived !

I slipped them a $20 bill ! They were VERY gracious and so appreciative !

    Well, good. I wondered if they would have to put the head of the bed under the windows to make room for it. Now you have no more excuses for not moving.

      As the two mattress delivery men were setting it up, we asked them for their opinion. Both agreed the mattress would orient either way. Patti opted to locate the head of the bed under the window and it feels very comfortable. Thanks for your comments Gullible. We just left you a comment on Chapter 12 of your November 2022 African Safari.

      I just measured it. From the floor to the surface of the bed is twenty-eight (28) inches. Sitting on the side of the bed (keep in mind my body weight will compress the mattress) my feet are comfortably on the floor. So? I think it's the photo. Smiles to you from us Gullible.
