Just last weekend we had the Hot Air Balloon Festival and Fair here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Snap your fingers and last Thursday, beginning at 10am, some 600 or so VW Buses began rolling into town for the 28th Annual Lake Havasu Buses By The Bridge.
This week our local newspaper has been running front page articles about our Buses By The Bridge festival.
Today, Saturday the 18th of January, I visited the 28th Annual Buses By The Bridge festival here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Entry for all four days of the festival is only $5.
The parking area is very large.
Now we begin to look at the VW Buses that have travelled here, some from a long distance, to participate in Buses By The Bridge.
Lake Havasu does have some fun events. I love VW buses. Such an iconic part of the 60s. I am looking forward to more pictures of them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Kathleen. Sorry to be a bit late replying. You would not believe all of the activities going on here in Lake Havasu City. Soon the antique cars and street rods will be on show. When I lived in West Germany from 1974 to 1978, we had a VW Bus and did a lot of traveling in it. Smiles.. Cap and Patti
