VW BUSES BY THE BRIDGE..
And the winner is ??
Oh! You don't understand?
This is my very own "Contest" to determine the MOST UNUSUAL VW Bus at the festival.
And the winner is ??
Deep breath.. Hold it.. Let it out slowly..
Will all of you just look at the below..
MOST UNUSUAL VW Bus..
That I have ever seen at this festival or anywhere, anyplace else!
The gigantic tires! Have you ever seen anything like this "VW Bus"!
"Crazy said Red!"
Amazing huh? Absolutely, positively, amazing.

This is important in terms of timing.
It took me probably another hour before I finished perusing the Buses By The Bridge Festival.
I found (no easy task) our GMC Suburban and exited the festival.
As I was heading up the left lane of London Bridge Road and I headed to Mesquite Avenue and home to our apartment, I casually looked into my rear view mirror.
Whoa!
Then, all of a sudden there he was, riding my back bumper..
He jumped into the left turn lane and off up Arizona Highway 95 he roared.
Oh I sure like that VW! Very cool on a grand scale! Kit
ReplyDeletePretty "Snazzy" huh Kit? Well its owner sure must think so! Never ever have I seen any VW Bus of this "ilk". Thanks for your comment Kit. Cap and Patti
DeleteNever have I seen such a VW beast such as this one! Although I admire it's engineering I would stay far-far away from any personal interaction with this kind of survivalist. IMHO.
ReplyDeleteMichael, as we told you on the phone, Patti and I are still giggling over your above comment. It truly IS A BEAST isn't it? Since you have never seen it on the streets of Lake Havasu City, it surely must be from another location (The Twilight Zone maybe). The timing of my second encounter was amazing in that a good hour had passed from seeing it at the festival to seeing it on the street. Still smiling. Thanks for your responding to my request in the Post to advise us about possibly of your having ever seen it here before. Cap and Patti
