I think that everyone reading along here with Patti and me have seen many roadside memorials (usually white crosses) erected in memory of loved ones who have died in accidents along the various highways we all travel.
While staying over a month in Kingman, Arizona, up to three times a week, Patti and I drove back and forth on Arizona State Highway 68 to Bullhead City, Arizona, en route to visit Tom and Ginny, our great friends in Laughlin, Nevada.
After passing one of the most special roadside memorials we have ever seen along any highway, we decided to pay homage to those (it appears to have been three) who passed away in an accident by doing a photo-shoot of it.
The memorial was on the South side of Arizona Highway 68 East between Kingman and Bullhead City.
There we no names and there were no details as to what happened here.
In the below photo we are driving East. On the right edge, in the distance, up on a small hillside, is a white Memorial.
In the next photo below we are driving West. Across the four lane highway you can see the white Memorial in the above photo very clearly.
In the photos below we'll move closer to explore the Memorial in more detail.
In the above and below photos, note that the large cross on the left has three lights on it. At night these three lights are illuminated.
A beautiful vase on the ground at the Memorial.
Looking down at our truck from up at the Memorial.
In Memory .. Rest In Peace .. Whoever and Wherever You Are ..
