One of our favorite activities during the warm Summer and Autumn months is to take a short (20-minutes each way) walk to Hillstrand Pond located adjacent to our subdivision.

We have lived here for some thirty plus years. Odd but we did not know if the ducks 'winter over' here or migrated South.
Winter has arrived.
To be honest, I could not believe my eyes when I saw the below scene unfold before me.
