NOV 24, 20 (PART 3 of 4) .. REAL WINTER 2020-21 IN ANCHORAGE

This is the third post showing our first (call it) serious snow of the winter season 2020-21 here in Anchorage, Alaska.

We will begin with photos of our front parking lot and of our truck.

After our first dusting of snow

Here came THE SNOW.

Section by section. Stroke by stroke. The snow is removed prior to driving. 

Walking to the far end of the parking lot and looking back you see the below view. If you look closely at the below photo, you can see the rear of our truck.

"Hello Hello! Welcome to our parking lot Mister Snow Plow."

The snow has to go someplace so, as you can see below, it is stockpiled into snow banks.

A very nice aside. I just happened to be taking some trash out to our trash dumpster when Mister Snow Plow arrived. Because of my injured right arm, I was having a lot of trouble lifting the lid of the dumpster to deposit my trash. Suddenly the snow plow operator dismounted from his plow and lifted up the lid for me. As he returned to his plow we waved at one another.

Now we are back out front on the street side of our condo.

Now we are going to just walk around our neighborhood.

First we step back in time to our first dusting of winter snow.

And here came THE SNOW.

There can be no doubt as to the beauty of the snow in winter (anywhere one has real winter).
