Here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, we are privileged to have an absolutely wonderful Public Library.

In this Part 1 of our 2 Part post, we will show you some exterior photographs of our library.

On the extreme right in the above photo, you can see our black Suburban in his very favorite parking place.

Hi Black Beauty. Handicapped parking is wonderful!

Looking along the walkway in front of the library.

In the above photo, at the far end, you can see our Suburban Black Beauty.

This will wrap up Part 1.

In Part 2 we will step inside of our Library and show some photos of its interior.

DEC 21, 25 (2 / 2).. LAKE HAVASU CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY.. THE INTERIOR..

Here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, we are privileged to have an absolutely wonderful Public Library.

In this Part 2 of our 2 Part post, we will show you some interior photographs of our library.

In the below photo, we are looking back at the entrance into our Library.

Looking at the above photo, on the extreme right edge, in the distance, you can see the below
large and roomy reading area.

This roomy reading room is one of Patti's favorite areas.

Stepping further into the above reading room, in the below photo you can see one set of Stacks (book storage areas) off the main reading area.

Backing up and turning around, on your right is a small, cozy room called The Book Nook.

The Book Nook is filled with books that have been donated to the library and books that have been taken out of circulation.

Each book costs fifty cents!

The Book Nook is Patti's other favorite area of the library.

Now turning around from the Book Nook, you are looking back into another section of the library.

On the left side of the above photo you see a round carousel?

Do you all see the above carousel on the right in the below photo?

Looking directly straight ahead, in the distance to the left of center, is a bank of desk top computers.

This is where I go in the library.

Immediately in front of you in the above photo is the printer for the desk top computers. I always sit on the right side of the bank of computers.

The below photo shows another set of book storage Stacks.

Below are two private rooms you can reserve if you need to be talking to another patron or even a library employee who is assisting you.

I have spent time in these private rooms with fellow members who are in recovery discussing and working on the twelve steps of recovery.

Library employees have helped me solve some issues with my lap top computer in these rooms.

There you have it. A little look-see at our absolutely wonderful Lake Havasu Library!

Cap and Patti

Ginny, our great friend up in Laughlin, Nevada, was of enormous assistance to me in uploading all of these library photos!

How can that be you ask?

I texted Ginny the twenty one photos I used in these two Posts. Ginny then emailed them back to me. Then from my emails I downloaded the photos.

NOV 18, 25.. RAIN.. IN SUNNY ARIZONA?

This afternoon, as I was out and about, I couldn't help but notice that the skies were very dark.

I said to myself .. "The skies look like Rain Skies. I think I will shoot a few photos showing that not all of our days here in Arizona are sunny."

Do you all agree that the below are "Rain Skies?"

The next photo below looks up our street. You can see the very dark skies in the background.

The below photo looks at the dark skies behind our next door neighbors home.

After snapping the above photo, I was home and went indoors.

Then suddenly I heard rain outside. Out I went and snapped the below photos of our Courtyard in front our apartment.

Our parking lot behind our apartment.

Looking out front at our truck and the street.

After the rain ended, I went out to the store. When I returned I snapped the below photo looking up our street.

Rain? Here in sunny Arizona? You betcha!

Smiling, Cap and Patti

I have got to say to Ginny .. "Thanks so very much Ginny for all of the assistance you gave me helping me to download the above photos!"

NOV 10, 25.. ARIZONA and ALASKA..BEGINNING OF WINTER 2025-26..

As all of you who follow us on our dotnet website (babakaps.net) know, Patti and I are fortunate to be spending another winter down here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

The photos below show you current scenes in Anchorage, Alaska (snow), and Arizona (sun).

How about our Anchorage Suburban!

Last October the 31st.

Now look at him.

Down here in Arizona, many people, if not most, call we Winter Visitors "Snowbirds".

This is incorrect.

"Snowbirds" would seek snow and go North.

We are "Sunbirds" down here seeking the sun.

When I explain this to local residents, they all agree.

Cap and Patti your very own, extremely happy, "Sunbirds".
