When Patti and I visited Iron Mountain, Michigan, we really enjoyed seeing the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church you will see below.
We discovered it on Trip Advisor. The church was an individual attraction under Things To Do. In fact I am proud to say that Trip Advisor posted my photos of the church.
Being Christmas time we thought this was a great time to show it off.
As you will see below, we visited on a spectacular autumn afternoon.
We were blessed the church was open for visitors.

Well? What do YOU do after church?
Our Tuna Footlong, in Little Old Iron Mountain, Michigan, was as good as any Subway Sandwich we have ever had anywhere on this good Earth.
Patti and I will, in part at least, Celebrate the Holidays with our friends at Subway.
Patti and I found Michigan's Upper Peninsula Veteran's Memorial on Pine Mountain in Iron Mountain, Michigan, to be very special and supportive of our military veterans.
As you can see in the first photo below, the memorial is situated in a beautiful location on Pine Mountain overlooking a beautiful valley below.
As you can see on the right edge of the below photo, the memorial is still under develoment.

On the extreme left edge of the above photo, in the far distant backgound, notice a wooden building with a green roof.

'Double Dipping', we were able to see two attractions in one location!
The Veteran's Memorial (see its flag at half-mast on the right below) is located beside Pine Mountain Ski Jump, one of the highest artifically created ski jumps IN THE WORLD.

We did NOT walk up to the top of the Ski Jump.
Repeat! Neither Patti nor I walked up to the top of the Ski Jump.
Below you see a concrete stairway to the bottom of the ski jump.
We did not walk down and then back up the concrete steps.
Repeat. Neither Patti nor I walked down and back up the steps.
The next two photos below show the landing area for the Ski Jump.
Pine Mountain is indeed a WORLD CLASS ski jumping facility. Each February there is a competition drawing contestants from all over the world.
In addition to the Ski Jump, there are two ski slopes for the non-ski-jumpers.
I came away from this visit with a new appreciation for ski jumpers!
