APR 4, 14 .. TURNAGAIN ARM SOUTH OF ANCHORAGE ALASKA .. PT I

If you want to take a short road-trip .. or even a long road-trip .. from Anchorage Alaska .. you have two choices.  You drive North up the Glenn Highway or you drive South down the Seward Highway.  That is it!
 
If you drive South you will pass some incredible scenery as you motor along the Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet.
 
 
Below are some photos that I snapped during the middle of March 2014.  In terms of the magnificent beauty of God's universe .. they speak-for-themselves!

 
 
 


 
As you motor South down the Seward Highway .. you come to McHugh Creek State Park.  The word Chugach that you see on the below signs is the name of the Chugach Mountain Range South of Anchorage. 





In mid-March we still had quite a bit of snow on the roads.

    Uh, what about the Parks Highway? Nice photos. I love this drive.

    We cannot access the Parks Highway in Anchorage ... it branches off the Glenn Highway near Wasilla ... still, out of Anchorage, one road goes south, one road goes north! Glad you enjoyed the photos. Patti
