MERRY CHRISTMAS 2017
JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THIS SEASON
Patti and I are in Anchorage, Alaska this Christmas. This will be our first Christmas here-at-home in Alaska since Christmas 2013.
We are going to show you some old and some recent Christmas and Christmas time photos.
Of all of the photos that I have taken of Patti, this first photo stands with those at the top-of-the-list of favorites.
This photo was snapped in Hong Kong in late November of 2014.
Patti and I were visiting HERITAGE 1881, a commercial shopping and business center directly across the street from the Salisbury Road YMCA where we were staying.
Well, as long as we are in Hong Kong with Patti in the above photo, let's continue with Christmas in Hong Kong.
We love the Hong Kong Trams.
x
You will have to forgive the two of us, we are missing Hong Kong.
The Time Has Come The Walrus Said for today's Rhetorical Question:
What has little old Anchorage, Alaska, and environs have that the Wonderful and The Mighty Hong Kong DOES NOT HAVE?
This is not a trick question. IF you look at the very first photo below you may immediately see what we have that Hong Kong does not have.
"Captain Oh Captain!"
"Yes Miss Hong Kong?"
"Captain Oh Captain! We here in Hong Kong DO NOT WANT what we see in these photos Captain."
"Nor Captain do we here in Hong Kong want the temperatures that you have in Alaska."
"Oh Br-r-r-r Captain."
Alaskans are hearty people. Below is a photo of a bicycle-riding friend who rides summer / winter / spring / and fall.
The Time Has Come The Walrus Said ..
For us to get up close and very personal. Patti and I don't have to get into our truck and take a little road-trip to find the snow.
These final photos show the neighborhood where Patti and I live.
In our Winter, some days have some sun, most days have very little sun.
Looking our from our living room.
Patti and I both ..
With Love and With Joy.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.
