Patti and I were out walking this evening along the banks of the Angara River, here in Irkutsk, Russian Siberia this evening.
As we passed the Monument to Yuri Gagarin, the famous Russian Cosmonaut, we heard and we saw street musicians playing the most haunting and beautiful music.
We can't share the sound with you, but we can share the below photos.
Yuri Gagarin's bust is in the background of the photos.
What a gift their music continues to be for us.
We snapped the below photos of them on June the 1st.

Ah, the pan flute. Love hearing it play Unchained Melody and The Lonely Shepherd.

Unchained Melody, year 1955, is my favorite song IF it is possible to have only one favorite song. The first hit version by Al Hibbler and also the version by The Les Baxter Orchestra are at the top of my list. Thanks for tuning in here. Cap and Patti
