Once a month I take a medicine for male osteoporosis called risedronate. One of the strict requirements of the medicine's regimen is that one remain upright after taking it with water for a bare minimum of 30 minutes lest the medicine get caught in one's esophagus.
On my risedronate days, I go for prolonged walks thus ensuring I am vertical for at least a minimum of one full hour and often longer.
Today I walked up to Hillstrand Pond, a place you've all seen before and a location I love to visit be it Summer, Winter, Autumn or Spring.
The ducks are still here and the days are getting longer and the weather is warming a little.
I am not the only one who loves this area.
Gratitude is living where we live here in Anchorage, Alaska.
