I will begin by posting a photo of the post card that I sent to YOU.
Did YOU get it? Do YOU remember it?
Now a promise made IS a debt unpaid .. Robert W. Service
And I promised to publish a post about Cool Springs, Arizona, just for YOU. Smiling to myself as I write these words.
A very small problem has arisen : With over one hundred photos, I feel like I have too many photos for one post.
So?
So this : I am going to do a two part post.
This (Part 1) post will show photos of the Arizona Desert that we enjoyed seeing as we drove to and through and beyond Cool Springs on our way to Oatman, Arizona.
It will also show photos of the Oatman Burros.
After this post is published, Part 2 will actually show Cool Springs, Arizona.
So?
If you are impatient to see Cool Srings, and you don't want to see a lot of photos of the Arizona Desert and the Oatman Burros, just scroll down to the bottom of this post and go straight to COOL SPRINGS, ARIZONA .. Part 2.
This trip originated in Kingman, Arizona. The below link will orient you.
When (in Part 2) you actually get to see Cool Springs, you will clearly and fully understand just why Cool Springs IS NOT shown on the above Google Map.
"Oh Zilla! Cool Springs is NOT SHOWN on the Google Map simply because there is (basically) not too much in Cool Springs."
THE ARIZONA DESERT
Kingman, Arizona to Oatman, Arizona.
Exit 44 off Interstate 40 heading West out of Kingman, Arizona.
Out here, one does not want to think about car troubles!
We have reached Cool Springs, Arizona.
We needed a rest stop.
"What's that 'Zilla?"
"Based upon the above Rest Room you now see why Cool Springs is not on Google Maps!"
On we go, showing some more Arizona Desert scenery heading to Oatman and the Burros.
Now we head down and into Oatman, Arizona,
And?
We have now arrived in Oatman, Arizona.
"What's that 'Zilla?"
"Based upon the above photograph, you're not sure there is much in Oatman either!"
And now (an extra treat for you) some Oatman Burro photos.
OATMAN BURROS
Yes! Yes indeed! The tame (wild) Oatman Burros come right up to you looking for some Burro Treats.
Will you all just look at the next three photos!
Our Patti!
Detroit Tiger Tom is also in on the action.
The time has come to wrap up Part 1 and continue on to Part 2.
