One of my all time favorite photographs from Arambol Beach.
In a long post yesterday (JUL 8, 22) here on blogspot, Patti and I explained that we ourselves can't remember each and every single photograph nor all of the details of all of our trips that we have posted here on blogspot.
We also mentioned that a major reason for our websites is to share with you our world travels. However, with covid-19 and the two of us now being in our 80's, the prospect of future world travels appears, to say the least, in question.
What to do? Neither of us wants to close this website down with its 973 posts and tens of thousands of photos.
We decided, for our own gratification and to refresh our own memories, to go back in time and revisit some of our past trips.
We also know many, if not most of you, are not able to check this website daily. Below is a link to yesterday's post.

ARAMBOL BEACH, IN GOA, ON THE WEST COAST OF INDIA
The below link will show you the location of Goa, India.
One of our two favorite places we stayed at in Arambol Beach.
We meet many friends from all over the world on our travels. Meet Bert and his wife Trudi two wonderful human beings. Bert is a sea captain, a pilot who commands any ship that comes into his port in Holland. Pilots take command of ships from their Captains who may not know the harbor as well as the Pilot. This includes 336 metre container ships (about eleven hundred and three feet in length) .
Let's go out on Arambol Beach for a walk.
A small beach cafe.
Another small beach cafe.
Now we are on the Main Beach in Arambol.
Below is a photograph of one of our all time favorite stretches of Arambol Beach. Very quiet and far away from the tourist areas.
We return to the Main Beach at Arambol.
Above is the Saint Frances Xavier fishing boat.
The Day's Catch.
Onward we stroll. Inland, away from the Main Beach.
We will close with a lovely sunset, looking West at the Arabian Sea.
We enjoyed our first look back at Arambol Beach and hope you also enjoyed it with us.
Cap and Patti
It's just an unprecedented luxury that I've seen on this page today! Wow!
ReplyDeleteCap, Patti, as usual I have a thousand questions! Can they be asked here?
Okay, let me be TOO curious!....
Cap, don't they have hurricanes (or is it for this reason) the roof of the cafe is so unreliable, some kind of plant ...? And there is sand on the tables in this cafe all the time, isn't there? And the boulders on the far beach look very much like pumice... eh?
How nice to read your words : It's just an unprecedented luxury that I've seen on this page today! Wow! Thank You so very VERY MUCH ..
DeleteI don't know about pumice stone boulders. Nor the thactched roof on the cafe since we weren't there during typhoon seasons. Every beach has sand all over every surface !! Smiles .. Cap and Patti
You know, Cap, you can insert your memory card in the picture frame I gave you and see all your old photos.
ReplyDeleteAs always, in all ways, we thank you for your comment and interest in our website.
DeleteWhile sitting in our living room, as you suggest, looking at the many photos we have taken over the years, doesn't reshare them with you and our other friends. Also, it doesn't do anything to keep our blogspot website active and viable. We want to SHARE WITH OTHERS who may also be interested in our memories. It is all about our sharing with others. Cap and Patti
True, what you say, But seeing them on the frame might excite your memory.
DeleteThanks so much for your ongoing support and interest Gillible. We really appreciate it. Cap and Patti
