Deep Breath.. Let it out slowly..
It has been almost one full month since I last published a Post here on Blogspot!
That says all you need to know about the past month in our lives. Getting ready to leave Anchorage and come down here to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, to spend the winter took a lot of effort for both of us!

THANKSGIVING DAY 2023
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who follow us here on Blogspot.
Patti and I hope that each and everyone of you will be surrounded by family, friends, and good cheer. Patti and I have several options for our Thanksgiving Day. We have been invited out to celebrate the day with a large meal. We declined the offer. The two of us will chair an Alcathon meeting at The Sun Club at 3:30pm and that will be the extent of our socializing today.
We are still fatigued from settling into our apartment here in Lake Havasu City so we just want to relax and be quiet.

We two are so very, VERY THANKFUL, to be here. So we wanted to share, through the below photos, our apartment.

My solemn promise to all of you : You will NOT see one iota of snow in all of the following photos!
First we flew South to Laughlin, Nevada for a four night visit with our good friends Tom and Ginny.
It was Tom and Ginny who got Patti and me up into Kingman, Northern Arizona, back in 2017.
When we are in Laughlin visiting Tom and Ginny, we always stay at The Edgewater Casino Hotel.

OUR APARTMENT
It was our great friend Michael who got us to Lake Havasu City.
We are so thankful to be here and for our apartment.
Stepping out our front door, and walking to the left, we see the below views.
In the above photo you can see Moyo.
Moyo is a sweet little Bear who watches out for our apartment building.
The below photos look back at the front of our small apartment building.
Now we will walk up the below steps.
The below photo was taken with my back pressed up against the other side of the Palm Tree in the above photo.
Patti and I really love the open area you see in these photos.

Last, but not least, we park Black Beauty, our GMC Suburban, in two locations.

There you have it. Life in Arizona during the winter in our sweet little apartment here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

ReplyDeleteHello from Colleen, Dylan and Kinley. What a beautiful spot you guys have there for the winter and with beautiful rays of sunshine. We spent Thanksgiving at Dylan sister house with his mom and his sisters side of the family. Kinley always has a great time playing with her cousins. But has missed seeing you guys. All of our love and blessing u til we see you again.
Hello back to you Colleen, Dylan and Kinley! Yes indeed we are in a very beautiful place here and now you have seen for yourselves how pleasant it is down here in Arizona during the winter.
