Last night, we here in Anchorage were "put on alert" for our first major (5 to 8 inches) snowfall of this upcoming winter.
Well, guess what?
Yes we did have a significant snowfall that we don't expect to quickly melt as did our first "touch of winter snow" back on October the 10th did.
But is sure wasn't 5 to 8 inches! Yet!
Looking out from our living room at our backyard.
No matter where you are living, the weather forecasts, at best, are oft incorrect! Yes we had significant snow but NOT 5 to 8 inches. Yet!
Here in the wilderness of the Kenai Peninsula, we had less than an inch. Lots of melting , too. Seward has none.
ReplyDeleteGo figure. Less than an inch down there in Moose Pass and environs Gullible. Smiles.
