NOV 25, 24.. YESTERDAYS NEWSPAPER.. FINLEY.. TESLA CYBERTRUCK..

On our dotnet website, I often refer to "Yesterday's Newspaper" with regard to our Posts.

Practically no one goes back and re-reads "Yesterday's Post" thinking that perhaps something new has been added.

FINLEY..

In yesterday's Post we showed photos of our next door neighbor's dog, a Pomeranian named Finley. 

Today I snapped the below photos of Finley. I have inserted them into yesterday's Post, a Post few readers will be returning to.

TESLA CYBERTRUCK..

Several days ago, November 19th and 20th, I published two Posts showing a Tesla Cybertruck here in Lake Havas City, Arizona.

Today I saw Doctor Mike and his Cybertruck..

He was pulling into the parking lot outside of our local library.

So I turned around and doubled back to say hello to Doctor Mike.

I approached him as he was getting out of his truck and I rolled down my window and said.. "Hi Doctor Mike."

As he approached me, he looked at me with a look of total surprise!

Then it struck me like a "ton of bricks" that it was NOT my Doctor Mike!

I apologized and asked him if there were other Tesla Cybertrucks here in Lake Havasu City.

He replied.. "Yes there are four of them."

Smiling.

No I will not insert this story into the previous Posts (a.k.a Yesterday's Newspaper."

NOV 24, 24 .. FINLEY.. OUR GREAT NEIGHBOR..

Here we go Loop De Loop..

Oh the small things in life that give us such great joy.

One of them is Finley, who lives next door to us here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where Patti and I are "wintering".

"They" call those of us who winter here "snow birds". Actually this is a misnomer (a wrong or inaccurate name or designation).

We are "Sun Birds". We seek the sun. A snow bird would fly up North into the snow country!

Oh the small things in life that give us such great joy.

We are talking about our next door neighbor that showers us with happiness and sheer joy on a daily basis.

Finley is his name.

Finley is a Pomeranian!

John is the leader of Finleys' "pack".

Hi Finley, Patti and I just love you!

When Patti and I are home, Finley is always welcome to come in and visit with us.

What a difference! 

Can you imagine how much hair an untrimmed Pomeranian must shed!

I had to shoot quite a few photos to get the above quiet ones. Finley is usually dashing around hither and yon. One time Finley "ran off". A friend of John's spotted Finley about 11 miles from our apartment and "grabbed" him. John was very relieved.

NOV 22, 24 .. ROASTED CHICKEN DINNER AT HOME.

If you have been following us over the years on our website babakaps.net, you would have a good reason to think that all Patti and I eat are Subway Sandwiches or Singapore Rice Noodles.

Today we "broke the mold" and enjoyed a much different dinner.

ROASTED CHICKEN DINNER from the Deli at Smiths Food Store here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

There it is!

It was still warm and it looked delicious.

Patti "went to work" carving it up.

Patti and I were "ready to eat" our wonderful dinner.

We loved it! There were very few "leftovers" for tomorrow!

NOV 20, 24 ( 2 / 2 ).. THE TESLA CYBERTRUCK..

The Tesla Cybertruck (now an) Adventure, continues.

This morning (November the 20th) I had to go to the Havasu Regional Medical Center. When I "rolled into the parking lot" you will never guess what was parked there.

You guessed it! 

THE Tesla Cybertruck.

But, like Monday, it was parked amongst other vehicles.

Except! There was a vacant parking space beside it. I went for my smart phone to snap a few more photos and, Double Drat, I had left it home.

So into the Medical Center I walked. 

Perhaps 20 minutes later, finished with my business, I returned to the parking lot. Wow! The vacant place beside the Cybertruck was still vacant. I had parked elsewhere because it was in a reserved "For Physicians" parking area.

What to do? I raced back to our apartment, picked up my smart phone and raced back to the parking lot.

I parked Mister GMC Wallace (aka Black Beauty) right beside THE Tesla Cybertruck in a "Physicians Only" parking place because I was with Black Beauty.

Wow! THE Cybertruck "has a name". He is Walter!

I was getting ready to leave!

When suddenly..

Up walked Walter's owner who got into his Cybertruck!

I "dashed around" the Cybertruck and asked the owner IF I could snap a photo of him!

"Sure" he replied "I go by Mike."

"Hi Mike so nice, so very, VERY, nice to meet you Sir!"

Then Mike said some "Magic Words"..

"Would you like to go for a ride Cap?"

Into Walter I hopped!

As you would guess, above and below, Mike's Cybertruck has quite a dashboard computer screen.

Off we went (for me at least) on a thrilling ride in Mike's Cybertruck Walter.

Walter is 100% capable of driving without any "Hands on assistance from Mike!"

For now at least, I will keep Mike somewhat anonymous. 

However, I AM going to ask my Primary Care Physician here in Lake Havasu City to give me a referral to Doctor Mike!
