Here we go Loop De Loop..
Oh the small things in life that give us such great joy.
One of them is Finley, who lives next door to us here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where Patti and I are "wintering".
"They" call those of us who winter here "snow birds". Actually this is a misnomer (a wrong or inaccurate name or designation).
We are "Sun Birds". We seek the sun. A snow bird would fly up North into the snow country!

We are talking about our next door neighbor that showers us with happiness and sheer joy on a daily basis.
Finley is his name.
Finley is a Pomeranian!

John is the leader of Finleys' "pack".

When Patti and I are home, Finley is always welcome to come in and visit with us.

Can you imagine how much hair an untrimmed Pomeranian must shed!
I had to shoot quite a few photos to get the above quiet ones. Finley is usually dashing around hither and yon. One time Finley "ran off". A friend of John's spotted Finley about 11 miles from our apartment and "grabbed" him. John was very relieved.

Finley...finley...FINLEY! What a handsome and lovable spirit-dog he is! Little Bit is quite enamored with him, too, when we encounter each other at the London Bridge Park and Channel. Finley just can't be resisted! His playful energies are magical and magnetic! And his companion, John is such a gift, too! Glad to know that you and Patti get ample amounts of 'Finley' bonding! I know how much you both like our fur-baby-spirit-animals!

Delete11 miles??? ELEVEN??? That is a lot of distance for those tiny legs. I bet he was tired! But all those wonderful smells. He couldn't help but explore. I always love taking my dogs for walks. They were like kids in a candy store.
ReplyDeleteYes Kathleen, Finley was picked up by one of John's friends eleven (11) miles from our apartment. Further, John's friend was riding a motorcycle and had to manage the task of holding Finley so he didn't try to jump off. John also is a motorcyclist so Finley has some motorcycle riding experience.
