AUG 14, 14 .. UNITED STATES RAILROAD TRAINS ..

This post is for my friends in INDIA.  Our trains here in the United States are somewhat different than the trains in INDIA.  So I wanted to show you a few photos I snapped today as Patti and I met our friend Andre here in Royal Oak Michigan. 

BUT .. you in the United States can 'look-in' if you choose .. Smiles !!

In the United States the major passenger-carrying railroad system is called .. AMTRAK.  I specify passenger-carrying railroad because freight (in India you say 'Goods') is carried on private railroad carriers. 

So .. here-we-go with a few photographs.

First are photographs of the massive AMTRAK railroad engines !  I snapped photographs of two (2) different AMTRAK trains.





In the distance you can see passengers boarding the train.


Below are some close-up photographs of the passengers boarding the AMTRAK train.


In the below photograph .. the AMTRAK conductor seems to be wondering what I am doing?  One man has his hand over his head .. maybe he is 'shy' of having his photograph snapped!

And .. here is our friend Andre .. arriving from Chicago Illinois .. happy to be home again !

    I enjoyed them very much, CAP & PATTI. The conductor sure was looking at you like she'd never seen a camera before. HELLO! And the person covering his face.....is he guilty of something????

      Thanks Shaddy for noticing .. along-with-me .. the above 'players' as travelers were boarding the train .. the mysterious man boarding and the conductor ! Smiles .. Cap ..
