Yesterday I did a very short Post showing me with a really great Ice Cream Sundae.
I did not mention in yesterday's Post that the Ice Cream Sundae was dessert.
Here is a little bit more of ..
THE REST OF THE STORY.
By definition, a dessert (served as the final course of a meal) follows a meal.
So, to be true-to-the-story, first I will show you the meal that preceded the above dessert course.
JOY CUISINE
In terms of sheer size, JOY CUISINE has got to be one of the largest restaurants I have ever eaten in.
If you look closely at the below photo, you can see Grant with Keller, in white, walking ahead of him.
"What's that you ask 'Zilla?"
"Didn't we get any Singapore Rice Noodles?"
Going in, it was agreed beforehand, that dinner must include Singapore Rice Noodles.
"Grant and Keller I could really go for something sweet. Do you have an option for dessert at another place?"
Our dessert course originated in a special dessert cafe.
HONEYMOON DESSERT
"Grant and Keller, the two of you sure know the places to visit here in Aberdeen, Hong Kong!"

The below photo peeks inside the HONEYMOON DESSERT.
Now we are inside HONEYMOON DESSERT.
The time has come, the Walrus said, to at long last get down to dessert.
Keller (the white dish on the left) and Grant (the yellow dish on the right) opted for a more traditional Chinese type of dessert.
"Oh Goodness Captain! You didn't!"
Your Captain opted for a more traditional dessert.
The below photo shows the chocolate cookie that came with my Ice Cream Sundae.
"Dad! Point out to our readers how special I am!"

Our very proud dessert master.
"Grant! Keller! That does it! Did we three just have the last meal that we will ever eat in this lifetime!"
Oh Captain! Burp!
That (a good after dinner burp) is in the finest Chinese Tradition.
"What's that Gullible? You don't believe we ate it all?"

ReplyDeleteWell now !! After all !! There was Keller, and there was Grant, along to assist me with the food !! Odd to say, but the great-looking-plate of Singapore Rice Noodles, Keller and Grant agreed, was on the 'bland side' of things lacking any zip or punch at all. Ah but !! That wonderful Ice Cream Sundae, with the amazing spoon that had to be designed for just that sundae, was as-good-as-it-gets. So nice to have you along for the fun. Love Cap
