There is absolutely no-way that we can possibly keep-current with Posts. Daily life just moves far too fast for keeping up to date. We spend days accumulating photos and seeing new and different things and attractions.
Patti said : "No one will be interested in this! We have far more interesting attractions to post."
Patti may be, and probably IS, correct.
However, the last thing we ever thought anyone would look at / let alone read, was our post on dot.net about our hunt for apricot jam. Sure enough, one of Patti's good friends loved that Post and told Patti about the love she and her husband have for apricot jam.
Bottom line : When I was taken to this attraction by our friend Peter in the greater Seoul area, I practically-flipped-out I was so excited about it.
Here we go loop de loop .. Here we go loop de li ..
Peter, one of my great friends in the Seoul area, and I were out driving to visit one of the Korean War Memorial sites when Peter told me he had to make a quick stop en route.
"Peter I don't believe this!"
"A COSTCO here in the Seoul, South Korea, metropolitan area!"
The South Koreans have taken COSTCO to a new level.
Do you see what I mean when I said that the South Koreans are at a different level than our U.S. COSTCO stores?
This is one gigantic, multi-level, store.
"Peter?"
"Yes Cap?"
"I am worn out. I need to take-a-break!"
"Look over there Cap!"
"Let me tell all of you, I was saved by a spiritual experience."
Come on now! Have any of you experienced a COSTCO of this enormous magnitude?
"Now I think that I can make it through the check-out line."
"You have got to be kidding me!"
" Just look at that line to exit the store!"
Yes indeed! They even have an automotive service area.
"Peter Thank You Again for all the help you were during our visit to Seoul!"
I just wanted to finish by sharing the below link with you:

Well? Did any of you get a hoot-and-a-holler out of this Post?
Still Smiling .. Cap and Patti

ReplyDeleteSo great to re-live our great day we had together and it began with the stop at the COSTCO store. What an amazing day and what an amazing store your COSTCO is. So through this Post we got to re-live this chapter of the great day. Smiling Cap and Sending Hugs Patti ..
DeleteAnd THANKS for your great e-mail and THANKS for taking the time to Post this comment.
That is a huge, crowded store. I think it would initiate Enochlophobia Bd agoraphobia all at once. I'll stick to my favorite hometown store, thanks.
ReplyDeleteHuge and crowded .. You have got-it-right .. Amazing COSTCO store. And they seem to be spread out all over South Korea. Patti agrees with your take on (we are not positive what the terms mean) it envoking : Enochlophobia Bd agoraphobia. Thanks for your comment. Smiles and Hugs .. Cap and Patti
DeleteI just did some homework : Enochlophobia fear of crowds. Agoraphobia is extreme or irrational fear of entering open or crowded places, of leaving one's own home, or of being in places from which escape is difficult. You are the greatest .. More Smiles and More Hugs ..
I would be happy to see a Costco in a foreign place as it is one of the few stores I look forward to going to at home :). I have to agree that it looks a little crowded for my liking, but I would get past that to enjoy seeing what unique products they have at the Korean Costco. Thanks for sharing, Cap!
ReplyDeleteSo great to get your comment Jason. Happy you liked a look-see at a South Korean COSTCO. Who knows, maybe you will find one in Viet Nam this fall when you travel there. So far none in Russian Siberia. Again thanks for your interest.
