Patti and I are "just so connected" here in Lake Havasu City.
Our next door neighbors, Trish and her sister Shirley, are members of the Lake Havasu Choir. The two of them are also very active in many other Lake Havasu City cultural events such as art shows, etc.
So we "hear about" so many activities that we would not hear about or, for that matter, participate in if they weren't our active neighbors.
Example: Trish knocks on our front door. We answer. Trish asks if we would like to purchase tickets for the December 8th Choral Concert?

Patti and I, along with other handicapped visitors, did NOT have to wait in the below "mile long" line.
The Lake Havasu Performing Arts Center was, to put it mildly, "jumping with energy". These are generically "sold out" performances as was the case today.
The handicapped are allowed to enter at the "head of the line". We qualify!

The concert began (nominally) at 3pm.
The very first activity on the program paid homage to the military veterans. You stood up when your service hymn was played.
I stood up when I heard the words.. "From the Halls of Montezuma, To the shores of Tripoli."!
In the photos below, the choir members look dressed in white. They were not. It is just how the lighting turned out in the photos!
In the below photo, at the right side of the stage, under the Arizona State Flag, a group of children performed. They were a notch or two "beyond precious"!
The concert was over at 4:20pm.
Because this is our third visit to the Lake Havasu Performing Arts Center, we know a few "tricks". Patti and I were in our Suburban, and out of a jam-packed parking lot onto the street five minutes later at 4:25PM.
The "tricks"? Get there early so you can pick "your" favorite parking stall. Sit beside an exit door so you can get from you seat out of the hall immediately. Back your vehicle into its handicapped stall so you can jump in and immediately "drive straight out".
It was a hoot and it was a holler.
