Every year, White Chapel Cemetery, in Troy, Michigan, celebrates its Annual Tulip Festival by planting over 50,000 tulips, including new and unique blooms rarely found anywhere else in the world. These rare bulbs have been imported directly from Holland in the Netherlands. Everyone is welcome to visit the park and enjoy this year’s spectacular display.
When I was living back in Michigan, my sister and I would have a yearly date to go out to the White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan, to see their amazing rows and rows of beautiful tulips and take pictures. It was a truly special “sister date” that we so enjoyed. I no longer live in Michigan but I can still enjoy them through her pictures.

I love tulips. Costco carries them but I can't bring plants into my house because the cats treat them like chew toys. No matter where I put them, the cats get there. I moved them to the top of the fridge one time because every other location was compromised. When I walked into the kitchen later, the vase was creeping over the edge of the fridge. I guess the cat wanted them on the floor for easier access.
ReplyDeleteThanks so very much Kathleen for your comment. The cats treat plants like chew toys! Great one-liner. Too funny Kathleen. Cap and Patti
