Just in case any of you are wondering IF there is any joy and happiness and exuberance and squealing here during the winter in Yakutsk Russian Siberia, we invite you to enjoy the below scenes that I snapped today.
IF ONLY you could have heard them! Squealing and giggling and bouncing around with joy.
"Hm-m-m, what have we here?" I said to myself as I approached the below crowd of people near a restaurant that we were going to have lunch with friends.
Goodness! Just look at them all! It is late March! You'd think that we were in Russian Siberia in the heart of winter!
In the upper right of the above photo you can see the restaurant where we plan to enjoy lunch.
And then, as I got into the crowd, it slowly became clear as to what was happening!
There they go!
Everyone watched with joy.
That was not all folks. There was a 'more sedate' option for romantic adults.
Yes! Oh Yes! Yes Indeed! There was even more fun for the children!
And lunch? Yes! We finally got to lunch!
No! This was not all. But it is all that I am able to show now.
