What an odd title the above title to this Post is. How on this good earth can you marry these two words together? Abu Dhabi and Ferrari?
Last month I took a one-day trip with Rayna Tours from Dubai traveling West to Abu Dhabi and back to Dubai.
First a photo of our magnificent bus. First class in all respects. Fully air conditioned.
Below is a photo of his above license plate.
These tours can be a challenge, especially when there are literally fleets of tour buses congregated together in one large parking lot at various attractions. Some venues have several large parking lots. You need to know which bus is yours. So when I am on a tour, I photograph the license plate of my bus to ensure I am able to rejoin my group if I get separated from them.
Below is a photo of our tour guide, Muhammad.
I am going to show some photos of the highway that connects Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
So far, and I have now been on three major highway road trips, each of the highways here in the UAE have lighting on 100% of their routes.
Nice, very nice, highways.
All of a sudden, as we reached the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, we pulled into, of all places, Ferrari World.
It seems that Ferrari, the Italian automaker and race car builder par excellence, built this venue to honor and to promote its name.
Coming up on 25-27 November 2016, is an international Formula 1 auto race, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the final race of the Formula 1 season.
Into Ferrari World we walk.
We are now in the automobile section of Ferrari World.
As you can see below, in addition to Ferrari's, there are other automobiles on display at Ferrari World!
Now for two photos of a Ferrari automobile.
Two photos of Ferrari racing cars.
The below photo of the Ferrari Store will wrap up this Post.
In closing, I am doing the Ferrari World a great disservice if I do not mention that Ferrari World is as lot more than I was able to see and to photograph above.
One attraction, the amusement park in Ferrari World, has a roller coaster Formula Rossa that is the fastest roller coaster in the world.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi was named the Middle East's leading tourist attraction for year 2015.
With this revelation, I shall now sign off.
Time. We just did not have a lot of time to spend here on our tour. Not that I felt we needed to spend more than our 45-minutes allotted to us.

The tour bus DOES look elegant! Good, very good idea to take a picture of the license plate so you can be sure to get back to YOUR bus. Who would have thought that there would be a Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi??? I would NOT be tempted to ride on the fastest roller coaster in the world! Smiles, Patti
ReplyDeleteThe tour bus also thinks that it is indeed elegant! I decided that on the tours that I take, I will NOT be 'the one' who is late, who can't find the bus, who holds everyone else back. I made it a real effort to be up front and on time and to be of NO worry or concern to the guide(s). I have never, NEVER EVER in my life, ridden a roller coaster. I plan to maintain my perfect record. Hugs and Love .. Cap
