Well, in the above title, it is not really 'my' Flat you understand. I am the guest of a friend here in Vladivostok and am staying with him.
Here is what 'my' building looks like.
OK. Please get with me now. I will point out 'my' bedroom window to you. In these photos, the left side is open.
In the above, and in the below photos, go to the far right side of the building. Now come across to the left, counting the three vertical rows of windows. Now go to the top of the third row of vertical windows and come down three windows.
It will be a strain, but in that window, at the extreme bottom, is my blaze yellow jacket. It shows up as just a small yellow line at the extreme bottom of the window.
If you look at the next photo below for 'my' bedroom window, you will see it since you know what you are looking for.
'My' flat continues to the left of 'my' window. You can see the exterior balconies that front all of the flats.
In the bottom left of the above photo, you see the back side of the small building I show in the next two photos below.
Looking down at it from 'my' bedroom window.
This building immediately in front of 'my' building is a small convenience store with 5-Litre jugs of bottled water just for Your Captain.
More school-time for you. In the below photo, go to the extreme right edge of the building. Come left to the only vertical row of windows facing you. The third window down from the top is 'my' kitchen window.
The below photo was taken from 'my' kitchen window looking down at where I was standing when I took the above photo. In the below photo, I took the above photo standing beside the multi colored playground attractions in the lower right below.
We have now walked around to the far side of 'my' building and entered it.
In the distance you can see the elevator up the the 7th floor. How do you like the fact that I 'captured' the young man inside the elevator pressing a button?
We are now just inside of the entry door to 'my' Flat. I am calling below photo my point-of-reference.
To the left is 'my' bedroom.
To the right is the living room where my host is sleeping having given to me 'his' bedroom.
Into 'my' bedroom we walk. Notice I have two defenders in my room. Focus on the large brown chap on the left of the photo beside my bed and in front of the bookcase.
Do you suppose that the two of them read all of the books in the book case?
Well Hello, Alive And Up Close, The Two Of You.
I do not know his name. Nor do I know who the other chap is up and behind him.
Nice that I can have the window wide open for air.
Another look out of 'my' bedroom window.
Back to my point-of-reference. Now we go to the right into the living room.
In the background, you can see the balcony outside of the living room.
Below are the above two views taken in natural light.
In the next two photos, the balcony is to our back and we are looking at the other side of the living room.
While we are here, in the above photo, we are going to step through the door on the right.
Below we see the entryway hallway.
On the right side of the above and the below photos, the two doors open to the toilet and full bathroom.
In my point-of-reference photo below, you can clearly see 'my' bedroom, the living room and the two doors into the toilet and full bathroom.
In the above photo, out of sight, to the right behind the entryway closets, is the door into the kitchen.
Below you can clearly see the kitchen.

Quite the comfortable looking place! How nice that there is a small store just outside of your door where you can get water and other items. How VERY nice of your host to put you into his bedroom while he sleeps in the living room. It is great to be able to picture you in "your flat"! Thank you!! Smiles and love, Patti
ReplyDeleteHow fun that you could follow my road map of instructions on finding my window in my building. How nice of my Host is one great understatement. Phenomenal. Beyond in fact Way-Beyond the Beyond. Thanks for looking this over and giving me the 'thumbs up'. Much Love .. Cap
