Here we go with yet another Hong Kong Restaurant.
The Spaghetti House in this Post is located in Kowloon across Victoria Harbor from Hong Kong Island. It is very close to the YMCA Hotel where we stayed on this visit.
As you see in the photos, it is located up on the 2nd floor of its building.
I snapped the below photo from inside of the restaurant.
The time has come to enter the building, and take an elevator up to the 2nd floor. We are now in the lobby of the Spaghetti House.
I had never eaten here. So I visited the restaurant several hours early and investigated it. I liked very much what I saw and made a dinner reservation for Patti and myself and our good friend Steve.
It turned out that having a reservation was a very good move. Do you see Patti on the left edge of the below photo?
Steve, in the white shirt on the left below, is studying the menu.
We sat at a window booth. Having a reservation was a good idea.
A very complete menu.
Dinner for three. Patti and myself and our best-of-friends Steve.
Pepperoni Pizza, two wonderful Pasta entrees, and a phenomenal Salad.
Oh My Oh My ! Everything was wonderful !
Today's Rhetorical Question : I shoot a lot of photos. Do you think that when the staff see-me-in-action they think I am a restaurant reviewer and so they go out of their way to give us good service and food?
Smiling .. Patti and Cap

As often as we saw the sign for this restaurant over the sidewalk in many past years, we, you primarily, finally got us upstairs and in the door. They sat us at a very nice table overlooking the sidewalk and then served us an excellent meal. All the way around, a great visit with our friend Steve joining us. Smiling with the memory . . . Patti
ReplyDeleteThanks For The Memory !! It sure worked out well didn't it? So nice to have Steve along for the evening. One Excellent Meal for sure .. Much Love .. Cap
DeleteCap- I never thought of that- perhaps the restaurants DO give you a bit "extra" when they see you taking pix of the food. Just curious- does an Italian Family run /own the Spaghetti House? Tom
ReplyDeleteTom I have no idea of who owns the Spaghetti House. Yes indeed, there may be something to it when I feel that me taking all of the photos gets us a better meal with perhaps even better service. Thanks Tom! Smiles .. Cap
