OCT 30, 21 .. A POTPOURRI (A MIXTURE OF PHOTOS) .. WOW .. WHAT HAVE WE HERE?

Here we are, the end of October, Halloween is tomorrow, and I am having trouble getting going here on blogspot.

What to do?

Sit down, focus, and just DO IT !

Aren't children wonderful? We have a young lady, and her mother, living in our six unit condominium that Patti and I are quite fond of.

The other day, as we approached our unit, we saw something different and we thought.. 

"What have we here?"

"What are we seeing on the ground to the left of our bedroom window?"

Something colorful!

Wow! Just look at what we have here!

Looking out at our backyard from our living room.

The other day, when I looked out in our back yard, I said to myself..

"What have we here?"

A Bull Moose is what we have here in our backyard!

A few days ago the below chap nearly came into our bedroom.

Stay tuned here, in the next few days you will see more Moose photos than you have perhaps ever seen in your life unless you live up here in Alaska. Below is a 'sneak preview'!

"What have we here?"

I guess that the melancholy (a feeling of pensive sadness) of our approaching Winter, especially the ever shortening days and dark skies, is affecting me. 

To everything there is a season, a time to be born and (sadly) a time to die.

Last Spring was the birth of Patti's colorful and glorious Summer flower boxes.

And now, the very few still remaining, are in their final days, doing their very best to hang on and remain alive.

To everything there IS a season.

Beginning with ourselves and our lives.

Patti and her eternal optimism sure helps keep me from hitting the bottom of the doldrums (a state or period of inactivity, stagnation, or depression).
