You are looking at a 'local bus' in India.. and you have an OWNER WHO REALLY LOVES HIS BUS..
What I want to share with you is THIS.. in all of my twenty one years of traveling in India.. I have ridden many MANY 'local' buses.. NEVER EVER have I ridden in a 'local bus' like this one.. it was immaculate.. it was EXQUISITE.. it was FANTASTIC.. it was.. the BEST EVER 'local bus' for me.. just the color and the decoration of the exterior was to have been a hint for me..
Then I boarded this 'local bus' and I could NOT BELIEVE the interior.. you NEVER EVER see an interior of a 'local bus' in India that looks like this..
So I waited until we got to the end-of-the-line in Mapusa.. I let all the passengers 'get down' .. and then I photographed the interior.. purple VELVET seat covers.. look at the floor.. you could practically eat off this floor.. I mean this bus was IMMACULATE.. NEVER in twenty one years have I seen a 'local bus' even come close to this.. NOTE I STRESS THE WORD 'LOCAL'.. the over-the-road luxury air conditioned buses are a different story.. many of them are beautiful.. NOT 'local buses'..
