DEC 24, 11 .. GOA .. ARAMBOL BEACH ..

 It has been awhile since I have written .. "And you ask me what it is I LOVE about India?"


 The following set of photographs REALLY TOUCHED MY HEART .. talk about 'going to any length' to celebrate Christmas at 90 degrees temperature in the tropics .. I was REALLY TOUCHED ..


 So I will start with three photographs to orient you to my apartment and the neighboring complex here in Arambol Beach.. the below photo.. which I will call photo 1 .. is taken from my couch and is right outside of my door looking south past my neighbors apartment .. what I want you to notice is the GREENERY in the next complex .. trees and more trees ..
  The below two photographs are taken from out in my back yard looking south again at my neighbors trees .. I will call the below photo .. photo 2 .. and it looks back and up at the complex next door .. again.. note the trees ..
 The below photo I will call .. photo 3 .. and it looks more or less straight across from my back yard into the neighbors complex .. you can clearly see my blue building on the left (photo 1 above was taken to the left of the blue railing visible in the below photo ..)
 OK the surprise is now OUT .. just yesterday .. December the 23rd .. when I came out of my apartment see what I noticed .. a man and a lady .. in the trees .. DECORATING THEM FOR CHRISTMAS .. wow ! .. but why wait until so very late .. I may never know the answer ..
 Here below is a nice close up of some of the decorations.. I mean they are VERY NICE ! ! .. I mean nice as in .. WOW !! .. all positioned and hung with LOVE and much CARING ..

And last evening.. what did I come out and see.. WOW ! ! .. lights .. camera .. action .. the photo below looks in the same direction as photo 2 above ..
I could not believe all the work that went into their project .. the below photo looks in the same direction as photo 3 above..
The below photo is the best I could do for an absolute night shot .. a tad blurry since I had to hold the camera by hand .. but you can see they have lit up the night with their decorations and with their tree lights..
I am just amazed at the above example of love and caring and CELEBRATION OF CHRISTMAS here in Goa .. and stunned that they did not begin this decoration project until December 23rd !
