This drive, South down the Seward Highway from Anchorage, Alaska, along the Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet, has been rated as one of the 50 Top Scenic Drives in the United States.
Patti and I have driven it many times. At one time, when Patti was living in Girdwood, Alaska, she "commuted" up and down this stretch of the Seward Highway for over 15 years.
Here we go. The first photos show some of the Southern part of Anchorage. Notice the beautiful snowy mountains surrounding Anchorage.
This completes Part 1 of this 3 Part series of Posts showing the beauty of the Seward Highway along Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet.Cap and Patti who has said that she never gets tired of this drive!

ReplyDeleteCap, Patti, you are lucky to live here and see such mighty beauty! Now I know where you draw your inspiration and passion for life from and why you come back here every time. It is impossible to say farewell to such an Earth beauty. ♥ ♥ ♥
Thanks Olga for your comment and enjoyment of the photos in this Post. The mountains ARE indeed stunning. I almost thought that maybe I put up too many photos and people would get tired of seeing them. Smiling, Cap along with Patti
