MAY 8, 23 (1/3) .. BOUSE, ARIZONA ..

The above photo "says it all" as to why Bouse, Arizona, has become far more to us than just a "wide spot in the road on Arizona Highway 72" as Patti and I drive the four hours, back and forth, from the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix to Lake Havasu City!

You can navigate the above map, going up closer and back further, as you like. You may want to begin by "collapsing" the side panel on the left side of the map by clicking onto the arrow on the right border of the side panel. But even if you don't collapse the side panel, you can see Bouse on the right side of the map.

The map looks totally different on a smart phone. But you still can see Bouse.

Patti and I may have passed through Bouse as long as several years ago. During all of our previous "visits", driving through without stopping, we never thought much about Bouse.

At the same time however, Bouse became a "landmark" on our trips back and forth.

Things changed however this past January the 16th. As we were leaving Lake Havasu City, I checked the air pressure in our tires and the pressure in our right rear tire was low. I opted not to take the time to find a tire shop and off we headed. 

Thanks 100% to Patti, as we were driving through Bouse, Patti noticed The Bouse Tire Shop as we passed it. Back I went. The tire pressure in our right rear tire was 20psi! I run our tires at 65psi. Tom and Jocquin "took care of us Big Time"! They filled all four tires and the spare tire at no cost. 

I pressed a $5 bill into Joaquin's hand as we left!

These few words will not do justice to the value of Patti who proof reads all of my posts. In the above post, beginning with the title, and continuing all the way to the end, I had mis-spelled the word Bouse. I had spelled it Bouce. Can you imagine that? Patti caught this after we published it and she was reading the post one-final-time!
