Well here we are! It was two weeks ago (July 27th and 28th) that Patti and I 'rolled up our sleeves' and planted flowers out on our porch for the first time in two years.
Neither Patti nor I know 'what happened' last year but we didn't have flowers on our porch.
So this is an 'update' showing how our flowers are doing!
Very, Very, Well, Thank You!
Here we go!
Our porch before we began.
Our porch 'now'.
Hi Mom! So nice to see you on this beautiful day!
Patti is 'dead heading' the flowers.
Hello.. Hello.. Mister Weed.. You are thriving.
Mister Weed was the only green object in the boxes on the porch before the flower project began. Patti was impressed with his tenacity and urged that he be retained!
Mister Weed has a shadow we get a kick out of seeing.
There you have it. The current 'State of Affairs' of our wonderful porch flowers!
Over and over and yes over again, Patti keeps saying how much she is enjoying our flowers.
Two Happy Campers!
Patti and Cap
Look at those pretty flowers, and lovely lady, Patti, too! Lookin' good! It's always a gratifying experience to nurture a plant(s) and know their is living natural cellular metabolism that you are contributing to. And the rewards of seeing them flourish! Sheer joy! Now, saying a little prayer that the moose and meese's don't discover their delicacies! lol
ReplyDeletePretty flowers and lovely lady, Patti. Yes Michael, as you wrote, both Lookin' good! Thank you for writing your comment. Yes indeed, flowers are living creations of our Creator in all aspects. Difficult to fathom indeed. So far we have not seen one single Moose all Summer. Not one! We don't have mice (that we know of) but we DO have a lot of Rabbits. Smiles and Thanks again. Cap and Patti
