AUG 31, 24 ( 1 / 3 ).. ARTS, BEATS and EATS.. LABOR DAY WEEKEND FESTIVAL, ROYAL OAK, MI.

Here we all are! August is in its final moments. We are celebrating the Labor Day Weekend. Summer is over. Autumn nears. Children begin school.

My home town, Royal Oak, Michigan, celebrates a Labor Day Weekend festival titled: Arts, Beats and Eats. In 2010 the festival moved from Pontiac, Michigan South to Royal Oak.

    Hi Cap.Over the 4 days-Fri.-Sunday,over 200 bands will perform.Everything from A -Arabian to Z -Zydeco.Of course,being Detroit,Motown+rock are the staples,but we heard a great Irish band,real good Johnny Cash type 'covers group + "Badman"Luther Keith,an old school blues outfit.Really-something for everyone.If you are in Detroit area any Labor Day weekend,stop by

      Patti and I have indeed attended Arts, Beats and Eats. For the life of us, we can not remember when. Year 2014? I have no record of it on either of our websites, dotnet or Google blogspot (here). No photos. No mention whatsoever. Zero. Zippo. Makes us a little crazy because both of us do remember it.
