My first ever two photos of my major landmark here in Krasnoyarsk were taken shortly after I arrived and got settled into my apartment.
It took me a few days to find out that this is The Russian Oil Building.
Since snapping the above two photos, I've wanted to shoot some additional shots.
And so I have.
The building that I am living in is the building on the left side of the below photo.
If I look straight out of my kitchen window, I am not able to see the Russian Oil Building. You can see it above the building on the left side of the below photo.
All that I can see of it is a glimpse of its very top.
Now I have a much better idea of what the top of the building looks like.
Again my building is on the left side of the below photo.
And?
Today's photo shoot, combined with some previous photos, really 'scratched an itch' of mine to get to know The Russian Oil Building a little better.
Ah-h-h-h .. Itch scratched!

In the first two photos and then some of the later ones, The Russian Oil Building looks as though it is being 'staged' by the sunlight. In spite of all the buildings, Krasnoyarsk still looks like a very airy city. Hugs from a bemused Patti (smiling)
ReplyDeleteThe sun this morning was absolutely perfect. It was at my back and rising about 10:15am as I shot the photos of the building. It seems that on each of my days that I take the Risedronate and then go out for a long walk of several hours, I have good outings doesn't it? Happy you are smiling and bemused. Love Cap
DeleteCap, It would be interesting to see the inside of the shops you visit to buy things.
