The below Russian Orthodox Church is located on the outskirts of Krasnoyarsk.
In comparison with some of the below Russian Orthodox Churches that I've shown photos of, this church is relatively small and modest.
I have a special reason for showing this particular Russian Orthodox Church.
This is the church that my friends who live in Krasnoyarsk attend. En route to their home for dinner we stopped at this church so I could do a photo shoot.
Very special indeed.
As long as I am at this, I'll show you all just a few random photos of Krasnoyarsk some of which I've taken en route to meetings.
My first, and my major 'landmark', the Russian Oil Building.
It is special for me to think that I have friends who live here and that I've been to their flat for dinner and a visit.
That's all for today folks.

Funny what strikes me sometimes .. as the picture of the white Christmas tree with the red decorations came up, I said to myself, "Wow, look outside the window there, they have shopping carts that look just like ours!!" Too funny!! The buildings in Krasnoyarsk ARE huge. You have been telling me that on the phone, but seeing the buildings in these photos really got my attention. Sweet small Russian Orthodox Church that Andrey and Lika attend. Enjoyed the tour of a bit of Krasnoyarsk! Hugs. Patti
ReplyDeleteYes it is funny where our eyes can go. The shopping carts look like ours. Here's the thing, THEY THE PEOPLE look just like us, or we look just like them. It's not only the shopping carts that look like ours. You should see the buildings like I see them live and up close. Amazing. Just amazing. I wish you could come here but .. Kyzyl is also quite an interesting city with contacts there as well. Much Love .. Cap
