AUG 31, 22 .. A FINAL RE-VISIT TO MONGOLIA .. THE 13TH CENTURY HISTORIC PARK

For the time being, this will wrap up the series of six posts as we have re-visited our time in Mongolia. It was 100% thanks to Gullible that I have published these August posts.

At the very bottom of this post you will find a link to a post dated JUL 22, 15 that has 129 photos. Some of general interest but with a focus on the THE 13TH CENTURY HISTORIC PARK located about 100km (62 miles) outside of the Mongolia Capital City of Ulaanbaatar.

When I arrived in Ulaanbaatar on Thursday, July the 16th, 2015, along with seven other members of the team I was a member of, we all were taken immediately on a two day trip to the THE 13TH CENTURY HISTORIC PARK. It was my very first introduction to Mongolian history and was very special.

Our Mongolian Host Par Excellence was Deegi. Seven years later, Deegi and her family remain close personal friends.

Here are a smattering of the photos you will see in the JUL 22, 15 post just in case you don't wish to look at the longer post the link at the bottom will send you to.

Here we go.

I am only going to show photos. IF you are interested in many more details, please use the link at the bottom of this post.

Mongolian Gers. The traditional home of the Mongolian nomadic herders.

Do you want remote? Below is a photo of the road we used to access the THE 13TH CENTURY HISTORIC PARK. You don't want to even think about having car trouble out here.

Yes indeed. There are real, traditional Gers right in the heart of downtown Ulaanbaatar being used.
